I highly recommend these. You really can customize them any way you want. They are cheap to make and quick to heat up. Saves money and time and they are delish! Can't go wrong.
Normally I use one of those tube things of ground sausage, about a dozen eggs and then shredded cheese. *you could use bacon, ham, really whatever you want and whatever kind of cheese you want* cook the meat and then let it drain on a paper towel to get the grease out. I add in a little milk with my eggs to make them fluffy. Cook the eggs. Let them cool. I found a really easy way to do this mix the meat and the eggs together. Then do some of the mix on a tortilla of your choice (I use the burrito size, but I would like to try the wheat and spinach ones) and then top with cheese roll up, roll individually in tinfoil, put in baggie and freeze. When you are ready to eat them take them out of the tinfoil wrap in paper towel microwave for about 2 minutes. Something I've also been wanting to try is adding spinach to them.
Don't judge my burrito rolling skills. |
