Love love love this recipe! Did I mention I love it! I am a pretty picky eater and the first time I tried this recipe I thought "Ben is going to really like this I will probably hate it." It just had some really different combos and seemed kind of strong. Well I was wrong. It's amazing! I love it Ben loves it my lil' sis Morgan loves it! It is a must try and the awesome thing is they work great as leftovers so you don't have to eat them all that night (even though that is definitely possible!) Or you can always adjust the recipe as needed to fit the amount you would like to make.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 packages of Kings Hawaiian Original Rolls (most grocery stores sell these but just and fyi they are usually by the speciality breads by the deli and such)
1 lb. sliced Ham (get it specially sliced or just buy the pre-sliced it don't matter to me!)
Swiss Cheese Sliced (Again, I used the pre sliced package and it worked very nice)
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
3 tsp. Poppy Seeds
1 Onion chopped (I have not used dried onion for this part from what I can tell I don't think it would work well just my opinion)
Melt and mix together butter, dijon mustard, worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds and onion.
Keeping the rolls intact with each other slice them in half (top and and bottom. Grease 9x13 pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lay bottom of rolls on pan. Spread 1/2 of butter mixture on top of rolls then add ham and cheese. Add top of rolls. Top with remaining butter mixture. Cover with tinfoil. Bake 15-20 min. Enjoy!!!!
